Most Followed Twitch Streamers. A ranking of four streamers with avatars and bars by follower count

Kai Cenat is the most followed streamer on Twitch, with about 21.9 million followers on 15 October 2026. Ibai (about 20.3 million) and Ninja (about 19.2 million) follow, then AuronPlay and Rubius. Seven of the fifteen most followed channels stream in Spanish. Twitch rounds public counts, so treat the figures as approximate.

Follower counts are public on every Twitch channel, which makes this one of the few Twitch rankings anyone can verify. We opened each channel's About page and wrote down the number Twitch shows. Below: the top 15, what the list tells you about Twitch, why followers are not the same as viewers, and how to check any channel yourself.

How we checked the numbers

We opened the About page of each channel that usually appears near the top of follower rankings, together with large channels from Spain, Latin America and the US that have grown fast in recent months, and recorded the follower figure Twitch displayed on 15 October 2026.

We did not use third-party trackers for the counts, because their data can lag behind Twitch by days. Our list covers the channels we checked; if a big channel you know is missing, write to us and we will add it at the next update. We will refresh the table each month and keep the date in the heading so you always know how current it is.

What the ranking tells you

Spanish-language Twitch is enormous. Seven of the fifteen channels stream mainly in Spanish, from Spain, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina. Spanish-speaking audiences follow big personalities across countries, and event streams such as boxing nights and award shows pull followers from the whole region at once.

The leaders are personalities, not games. Kai Cenat, Ibai and AuronPlay are known for themselves rather than for one title. Gaming-first channels like shroud and Tfue are still high, but variety and IRL streams dominate the top.

Old fame lasts. Ninja built most of his following during the Fortnite boom years ago and still sits third. Followers rarely leave in large numbers, so the list changes slowly at the top and faster in the middle.

Events create jumps. Subathons, charity streams and one-off shows add followers in days. That is why a channel that streamed a viral event can climb several places in a month, and why we date every figure.

English-language and Spanish-language leaders

The English side of the top 15 is led by Kai Cenat, Ninja and xQc, followed by Jynxzi, Tfue, shroud, pokimane and caseoh_. Most of them built their audience on games, whether shooters, battle royales or horror and party games, and widened into variety and talk streams as they grew. Kai Cenat is the clearest example of an IRL and event streamer outgrowing gaming entirely.

The Spanish side is led by Ibai, AuronPlay and Rubius, followed by TheGrefg, juansguarnizo, ElMariana and ElSpreen. These creators come from Spain and Latin America and often appear in each other's streams, so a big collaborative event lifts several channels at once. For brands, this is the practical takeaway: a Spanish-language campaign on Twitch can reach audiences in many countries through a handful of creators.

Why some famous streamers are missing

Some well-known names are lower than you might expect, or absent. A few moved most of their live content to YouTube or to other streaming platforms, so their Twitch followers grow slowly even if they remain famous. Others stream rarely, and a few channels were suspended for periods, which pauses follower growth. The ranking reflects Twitch followers only, so it rewards creators who stayed active on Twitch for years.

Followers vs live viewers

A follower is someone who clicked Follow: they get notified when the channel goes live and see it in their Following tab. That is a long-term audience, but not everyone tunes in. The number that decides a stream's place in Twitch's directory while it is live is the current viewer count, and big channels often have a few percent of their followers watching at any moment.

MetricWhat it measuresPublic?
FollowersPeople who chose to follow, totalYes, on the channel
Live viewersPeople watching right nowYes, during the stream
SubscribersPeople paying monthlyNo, only the streamer sees it
Peak viewersHighest live audience in a periodShown by stats sites

So a channel with fewer followers can outdraw a bigger one on a given night. If you are comparing streamers for a sponsorship, look at average live viewers over the last month, not only at followers.

Most followers on Twitch vs other platforms

Many of these creators are larger elsewhere: Ibai, AuronPlay and Rubius have huge YouTube channels, and Kai Cenat's clips spread mostly on TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Twitch followers measure the live audience specifically, which is why the order here differs from YouTube or Instagram rankings.

How to check any channel's followers yourself

  1. Open the channel on twitch.tv.
  2. Go to the About tab.
  3. The follower count is shown next to the channel name, for example "21.9M followers".

Twitch rounds large numbers. For a precise trend, write the number down weekly or look at the follower goal bar some streamers display, which counts up to an exact target. For subscriber numbers, which Twitch does not show publicly, see our guide to the Twitch sub count.

How smaller streamers can grow followers

You will not catch Kai Cenat, but the habits behind big channels scale down:

  • [ ] Keep a fixed weekly schedule that regulars can plan around.
  • [ ] Turn your best moments into clips and post them on short-video platforms.
  • [ ] Collaborate with streamers of similar size: raids and co-streams swap audiences.
  • [ ] Greet new followers by name on stream; it is the cheapest way to make them stay.
  • [ ] Pick a category where your stream is visible on the first screen, not buried under thousands of channels.
  • [ ] Set a follower goal on stream so viewers see progress.

How this works at Likemania

New channels struggle with the first hundred followers, when nobody stops at a stream with zero. Likemania's catalog includes Twitch followers, clip views and live viewers for one hour; orders use the public channel or clip link, nobody asks for your login, and the calculator shows the total first. Followers from an order do not watch streams, so pair any boost with a schedule and real interaction. The Twitch lines are listed on our services page alongside every other platform Likemania has covered since 2012.

FAQ

Which streamer leads Twitch in followers?

Kai Cenat, with about 21.9 million followers on 15 October 2026.

Who is the most followed Spanish-speaking streamer?

Ibai, with about 20.3 million, followed by AuronPlay and Rubius.

Is Ninja still in the top three?

How often does this ranking change?

The top three move slowly; the middle of the list can change within weeks after big events. That is why every figure here is dated.
